Supplies You’ll Need
- Coco Apricot Wax
- Gel Wax
- Lemon Sugar Rush Fragrance Oil
- Golden Yellow Wax Dye Chips
- Teal Gel Wax Dye
- White Wax (natural Coco Apricot Wax)
- Hot Wicks
- Clear straight-sided glass vessel
- Aquamarine Chips (3–5 mm)
- Heat gun
- Wick centering tool
- Digital thermometer
Step 1 – Prepare Your Container
Secure your Hot Wick in the centre of your clean glass vessel using a wick sticker or hot glue. Use a wick centering tool to keep the wick perfectly straight while pouring each layer.
Step 2 – Pour the Yellow Layer
Melt your Coco Apricot Wax according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Add Golden Yellow Wax Dye Chips until you achieve a bright, sunny yellow.
Mix in Lemon Sugar Rush Fragrance Oil at your preferred fragrance load.
Pour the first layer so it fills approximately one-third of the vessel.
Allow the wax to cool completely before continuing.
Step 3 – Create the Crystal-Clear Ocean Layer
Melt your gel wax slowly to avoid introducing air bubbles.
Tint the gel with a beautiful teal dye until it resembles clear tropical water.
Add Lemon Sugar Rush Fragrance Oil if suitable for your gel wax.
Carefully pour the gel layer over the cured yellow wax until another third of the container is filled.
Allow the gel wax to cool completely before adding the final layer.
One of the most beautiful features of this candle is seeing the wick through the crystal-clear gel wax, creating incredible depth and dimension.
Step 4 – Pour the White Layer
Melt fresh Coco Apricot Wax, leaving it its natural creamy white colour.
Add Lemon Sugar Rush Fragrance Oil and gently pour the final layer over the cooled gel wax.
Leave enough room at the top for your decorative finish.
Step 5 – Finish with Aquamarine Chips
While the top layer is still soft, carefully place several Aquamarine Chips around the wick.
Less is more. A light sprinkle creates an elegant, coastal-inspired finish while allowing the beautiful layered design to remain the focal point.
