There’s something about a layered candle that makes people stop scrolling. It looks fancy. It looks expensive. And it makes everyone think you’ve been making candles since birth.

This one? It’s made with coco apricot wax, ruby red dye chips, a W008 wick, and the iLite vessel. And the best part is, it’s way easier than it looks.

I don’t sell finished candles. I sell the supplies so you can make candles that people fall in love with. And this layered beauty is the perfect place to start.

Why Layered Candles Work

Layered candles photograph beautifully.

They look custom.

They look like something you’d find in a boutique for $48.

But they’re just wax, color, patience, and good supplies.

They work especially well for:

– Valentine’s Day

– Spring launches

– Weddings and showers

– Mother’s Day

– Markets where you want people to stop and stare

The Supplies You Need

To make this candle, you’ll need:

– Coco apricot wax

– Ruby red dye chips (and white or natural wax for contrast)

– iLite vessel

– W008 wick

– Wick sticker or glue

– Pouring pitcher

– Thermometer

– Scale

You can get all of this at candlehaven.ca.

Step 1: Prep Like a Pro

Clean your vessel.

Center your W008 wick and secure it.

Pre-warm your jar slightly so layers stick better.

Good prep is boring but it makes everything else look magical.

Step 2: Melt and Color

Melt your coco apricot wax slowly.

Split into portions so each layer can be tinted slightly differently.

Use ruby red dye chips sparingly. You want blush tones, not lipstick.

Pour your first layer and let it set until firm but still warm.

Step 3: Layer With Patience

This is where people mess up.

If you pour too soon, layers bleed.

If you wait too long, layers separate.

You want each layer set but still slightly warm when you pour the next.

Tilt the jar gently if you want diagonal or curved designs.

Repeat until full.

Step 4: Cure and Admire Yourself

Let the candle cool fully.

Trim the wick.

Take way too many pictures.

Because this candle deserves a photoshoot.

Why Coco Apricot Wax Is Perfect For This

Coco apricot wax is:

– Creamy and smooth

– Amazing for color

– Great for scent throw

– Beginner friendly

It gives layers that soft, dreamy look that makes people say “wow” out loud.

Why The W008 Wick Matters

The W008 wick burns clean, steady, and balanced in this vessel.

That means:

– No drowning

– No tunneling

– No drama

A pretty candle that doesn’t burn right is just a wax paperweight.

Turn This Into a Best Seller

If you sell candles, this design is gold.

Use different color combos:

– Pink and white for Valentine’s

– Peach and cream for spring

– Lavender and grey for weddings

– Green and gold for holidays

Change the fragrance.

Change the mood.

Keep the technique.
